UDI 2010-101V2 Income requirement for parents who guarantee board and lodging and the value of board and lodging

It is a condition that parents who guarantee board and lodging can document income at least corresponding to 2,5 times the basic amount in the Norwegian National Insurance Scheme (G). 2,5 G applies as an income requirement as a result of Instruction GI-17/2020.

As of May 1 2024, 2,5 G corresponds to NOK 310 070.

As of May 1 2023, 2,5 G corresponds to NOK 296 550.

The value of board and lodging is NOK 4 000 a month.
